Yes, I made my son dress up like a cow in order to get a free lunch today. In my defense, he really had fun and enjoyed swishing his tail around.

Happy Birthday Aidan

Aidan celebrated turning the big three this weekend. We had dinner at Chuck E Cheese, cake, donuts at the park with friends and presents. Thanks to all who celebrated with us, near and far.

What a Happy Birthday!!

Hottest in Summer Footwear

Literally, the hottest. Thanks to a 'cleaning-out-the-fridge' accident, I am now sporting this fashionable boot for the next couple of weeks. It may be a broken big toe and a really ugly toenail for me just in time for sandal season.

And speaking of fashionable footwear, Aidan decided that he would wear Darren's shoes to church.

Starting Soccer

Aidan has his first official soccer class/practice tonight. It was what you might expect with a group of 12 or so three-year-olds but he had a great time. I was impressed at how well he followed directions and kept up with the other kids. His only problem was that we didn't tell him ahead of time that there is more than one way to dribble a ball. At first when the coach would say dribble, he would pick up the ball and bounce it like a basketball. We will work on that for next week.

Warm-Ups (Aidan has on the white shirt and navy shorts) The coach had the kids try to balance the ball behind their head. We were surprised that Aidan could actually do it.

Post-practice dinner. Aidan got a special birthday dessert. Earlier this month, Darren took Aidan to Home Depot again for their kid's workshop.
