Aidan's funny comment of the day

Aidan has come up with some really funny things lately. Tonight, we were sitting on the couch watching the Olympics and he announced that he 'hatched out of a chicken's egg from a mommy bird'. OK, not really sure how to respond to that one. Yesterday he told me that while he was in the church nursery 'a big bear came in 'mine' room and brought Oreos and chocolate'. I wasn't there so maybe it really did happen. I love his imagination.

Making Pizza

Aidan's friend, Ashley, came over on Tuesday to play. The kids made us pizza fur lunch. Yummy!

Super Aidan

Lately Aidan has liked to run around the house wearing a 'cape'. He won't stop long enough though for me to get a good picture. Anyone surprised his cape has hockey players on it?

At the gym

Aidan enjoyed Ella's birthday party at Little Gym last week.

Working Hard

Today, Aidan and I took the train down to Darren's office for lunch. The train ride took us about twice as long to get downtown as driving would have but driving wouldn't have been half as entertaining.

Dirty Work

Last Saturday, Aidan helped Darren replace some sprinkler heads.

He offered me some of the 'hot chocolate' he was making. I declined.

Cookin' up something

Aidan had the chance to work on his culinary skills this week. The mall had a special kids program going on this week with a different activity every day.

On Tuesday, he got to make a pizza at California Pizza Kitchen. There are only pictures of the back of his head because every time I tried to step away he started eating his ingredients.

The result was very yummy.

On Wednesday, he decided he get his own snack. At least a few Cheerios ended up in the bowl.

On Thursday, it was onto Auntie Anne's to make pretzels.

Another delicious treat.
