Weekend in Denver

We made a quick trip to Denver this weekend to visit family. We were very busy the whole time but got to do some fun things. I really wanted to get a good family picture so there a ton of shots of the four of us in front of something.

Aidan decided putting your arms out was the proper way to take pictures on the mountain.

We ate dinner at Casa Bonita. It is a strange mexican restaurant that has all kinds of activities & entertainment. Aidan got to keep the bottom of the pinata because he won the pirate face contest. Memorial Day Weekend

We had a busy weekend celebrating Memorial Day and getting our summer started.

Our neighborhood had its first Memorial Day bike parade. Both Aidan & Kiersten participated. Aidan won first place for his age group. He even got a smoothie gift card as a prize.
We went to the local pool. Kiersten loves the water and is fascinated by the fountains.

She is also fascinated by her brother's goggles. Aidan made pink lemonade rocket pops.

Kiersten is the 'fish whisperer'. Every time she is near the tank they swim to her and suck the side of the tank. I think they think her chubby little fingers are food but she loves it. And here, Aidan learned is why it is not a good idea to throw your clothes down from the balcony...

Rangers Game & More Family Fun

First of all, I have to show off the cutest pigtails around. Kiersten has been rocking them a lot lately because her is getting long and kind of wild.Good example of her crazy hair. Plus this picture makes me laugh because she backed herself up under the coffee table and got stuck but was still smiling about it.
We went to a Rangers game Thursday night. We had great seats plus Aidan got a balloon shaped like a dog and a t-shirt. His favorite part? The dot race.

We also ate at Texas de Brazil this weekend. Aidan loved flipping over the disk when he wanted more food. Especially when he saw the waiter with the sausage.

Even Kiersten got in on the action. She loved the fried bananas. Here is some adorable sibling love. Aidan says "Kiersten thinks God gave her my hair to eat".

We celebrated the end of Aidan's first year of Cubbies. We are so proud of him & all the bible verses he learned.
