Dallas Zoo

At the end of February, I took the kids to the Dallas Zoo. Kiersten wanted to walk everywhere and Aidan wanted to see everything. We were there all day.

We have been enjoying the chance to get outside and enjoy the warmer weather.

Aidan & the Blazers

Aidan's soccer team this season is the Blazers. He is having fun at the games and has scored at least a couple of goals. His favorite part of the game though is the snack at the end. He is number 28.

President's Day

Aidan was very interested in President's Day this year. He wanted to make decorations for the house.

Valentine's Day

We started the day with heart-shaped donuts for breakfast.
Aidan bit his chicken nuggets into heart shapes for lunch. And ended the day with heart-shaped pizza for dinner. Kiersten's Valentines for school. Aidan's valentines for school. Aidan's box of chocolates, he bit each piece in half to decide in what order to eat them.

Wild Weather Week

Last week was a strange week in Texas weather. We started out Tuesday morning with a lot of freezing rain that coated the streets. School was cancelled. Then the temperatures stayed below freezing for three more days. Because Texas has no way to clear the ice, school was out the rest of the week. We also woke up to about six inches of snow on top of the ice Friday morning. We managed to get out and enjoy what we could of it but spent most of the week trapped in the house.

NFL Experience

Darren took Aidan down to the NFL Experience. They had fun checking out all the NFL stuff and testing their skills in some football games.
