Kiersten at School

Even though I teach in the same building where Kiersten goes to preschool, I don't get to see her during the day. I had her sweet teachers take some pictures of her during their day.

Nap Time

Being silly at home while wearing Aidan's sandals.

One morning I had a little extra time so we played beauty parlor. This is what she would look like with straight hair.

Aidan at School

Here are some pictures from Aidan's school events around the end of the year:

His artwork was featured in the Art Explosion show (although you can't see any of his pieces in this picture).

He celebrated Texas history with cowboy day. He is pretending to swing a lasso in the picture.

He participated in his schools fundraising run. He ran 31 laps.

Taking Kiersten on his 'victory lap'.

He learned about US history and the Statue of Liberty.

He finished his second year of AWANA Cubbies.

Storm Sirens

The storm sirens went off more times this Spring than ever before. Here are the kids camped out in the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Easter Day

We started our Easter morning with Resurrection Rolls. It was much easier than the Empty Tomb Cookies and much tastier.

Dressed for church.

Egg hunt in the backyard. She finally has the hang of it.

Breaking open the cascarones.

Egg Hunts

The first egg hunt of the season was at church. Kiersten started out well but then decided that she didn't want any eggs so she sat down and cried.

At our neighborhood egg hunt, there were pony rides. Aidan thought it was fun; Kiersten did not.

At least, she enjoyed the bubbles.

This time she got the hang of hunting. Her motivation was the candy inside the eggs.

Aidan is a seasoned pro.

Rangers Game

We went to see the Rangers play in April. I didn't take many pictures but here is cute one of Kiersten going in to give Aidan a big kiss!

Texas Bluebonnets

It is a tradition in Texas to get your kids pictures taken with the bluebonnets in the Spring. This is the first year that we have done it. Here they are back in April.
