Aidan turns 5!

On June 19, Aidan turned five years old!!

We started the weekend of celebrating with a family dinner at Rainforest Cafe.



Kiersten was not too sure about the elephants near our table.

On Saturday, Aidan had a party for his friends. He chose a science theme and we hired a company to come to our house to entertain the kids with experiments and projects.

The Mavericks

We enjoyed cheering the Mavericks on through their championship season. Aidan was especially excited to be a part of the action.
Thanks to some good ticket brokering, Darren was able to score two tickets to the final game in Dallas. I have never seen Aidan so excited about anything in his life. He was a super fan.

After the final game (which was in Miami), Darren & Aidan went to the sporting goods store at almost midnight to get some of the first of the 2011 Champion gear.

Mexico

In June, we had the opportunity to attend a friend's wedding in Mexico. We decided to bring along the kids and make it a family vacation.

If the pictures make it look like all we did was eat, drink and play by the water, it is because that is all we did. It was a very relaxing trip.

Lemonade Stand

While we were having our garage sale, Aidan had a very successful lemonade and cookie stand. He even sold out of cookies and had to make a second batch. He was a great salesman and generated business by standing by the street waving and getting Kiersten to be cute too. He made almost $30.
