July 4th in MN

We headed north to celebrate the Fourth of July.

The first stop was a Minnesota Twins game in their new ballpark.

Next we headed up to the lake. Aidan was really excited to try all the fun activities. It was his first time to ride in a tube behind the boat by himself. Kiersten in her life jacket. Aidan and the sparklers Kiersten with Aunt Karen at the rainy campfire

A pre-birthday lunch. Aidan got a free sundae which he shared with his sister. So sweet.

Darren, Aidan and Kiersten all partipated in races as part of Dadfest last weekend. Aidan with his medal from the 50 yard dash. His response "I thought it would be golden".

Weekend in Denver

We made a quick trip to Denver this weekend to visit family. We were very busy the whole time but got to do some fun things. I really wanted to get a good family picture so there a ton of shots of the four of us in front of something.

Aidan decided putting your arms out was the proper way to take pictures on the mountain.

We ate dinner at Casa Bonita. It is a strange mexican restaurant that has all kinds of activities & entertainment. Aidan got to keep the bottom of the pinata because he won the pirate face contest.
