Rangers Playoff Run

We enjoyed cheering on our Texas Rangers in hopes that they would 'Be the Champs'. They lost in game 7 of the World Series but the kids were really into it.

We had a chance to go to a game. We tailgated in the parking lot before hand.

Kiersten's Second Birthday

On September 15, we celebrated Kiersten's wonderful two years. She is our crazy, happy, fiesty little girl.

She doesn't like cake so we celebrated with a cookie sandwich.

She really got into opening her gifts this year. She loves her big dollhouse.

She loves her pillow pet too.

We celebrated her birthday with an ice cream party with some friends.

We played some ice cream games.



































Then we made sundaes at our ice cream bar.

Aidan and his notes

Aidan is our writer. He goes through about a notepad every week just jotting down whatever comes to mind. Here is a very short sampling...

Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner

We didn't win a chicken dinner but a chicken dinner won us this super cool guitar from Canes. We surprised Aidan by picking it up on the way to school one day. He is ready to start his band.

Back to School

Aidan started his year of PreK-5 at PCA. He is going all day, 5 days a week so it has been an adjustment for all of us. I think Kiersten was the most sad to see him leave that first day. She has gotten into a routine now where she doesn't miss him as much but is always excited to go pick him up.

Bye-Bye Ba-Ba

We made Kiersten give up her pacifier this summer. She affectionately referred to it as her ba-ba. Our friends, the Amersons, were moving to China with their new baby so we told Kiersten that baby Piper needed her pacifiers before they left. It worked and Kiersten handed them over without complaint.

Circus

One of Aidan's birthday gifts was tickets to the circus. It was the first time we have gone as a family.

They were both glued to the action.

Kiersten loved the elephants. She spent most of the night watching the entrance and waiting for the elephants to come in.
