Fourth of July

We spent the weekend of the Fourth of July in Minnesota with Darren's family.

Enjoying the hot dog he roastedAfter one of his softball games, Darren let Aidan run the bases. He now thinks it is the most fun ever. Here he is running at the baseball field where Darren went to elementary school.

Aidan used his birthday money to get a seat for the back of Darren's bike. He likes to wear his helmet. He find the ride very relaxing and even falls asleep.Aidan feeding a neighborhood turtle.

Aidan's Birthday Celebrations

Aidan enjoyed an entire week of birthday celebrations. He got very used to people singing Happy Birthday to him and enjoyed getting mail from everyone.

We had a party for him at the house the Saturday before his birthday. The kids ran around, played on the swingset and swam in the pool.

Later in the week we went to Chuck E Cheese. He was not too excited to greet the big mouse but he enjoyed the pizza and games.

Beating the Heat

Denver

We made a quick trip to Denver over the long weekend to visit Aidan's Uncle Bobby, Aunt Missi & Aunt Karen.

We had tons of fun playing outside, going to a Rockies game and the Children's Museum.
