Today, Aidan and I took the train down to Darren's office for lunch. The train ride took us about twice as long to get downtown as driving would have but driving wouldn't have been half as entertaining.

The result was very yummy.

We spent the holiday at the cabin in Wisconsin
Getting ready for the boat parade
Aidan driving the boat with Grandpa in the parade
Trying to row his 'boat'
Splashing me with his oar
Cooking his own dinner over the fire
Enjoying the hot dog he roasted
After one of his softball games, Darren let Aidan run the bases. He now thinks it is the most fun ever. Here he is running at the baseball field where Darren went to elementary school.

Trying some sweet corn off the cob. It is the first summer he has had front teeth to eat it with.
I walked into the living room to find this scene. Aidan had helped himself & his friends to some drinks & snacks. I guess it is a manly version of a tea party.

Aidan feeding a neighborhood turtle.
