The Rest of January

OK, I am trying to catch up so here is everything else exciting that happened in January...

Obviously there is something more exciting going on than looking at the camera.

Cutest fan ever in her leg warmers, excuse the drool Kiersten couldn't stop watching the game to eat. Kiersten had her first illness. She got to do breathing treatments for about a week. Thankfully, she didn't mind them and eventually found them so relaxing she could fall asleep.

Darren & Aidan had boys night at the Allen American's game We enjoyed cheering on the Vikings. We were sorry to see them lose but at least they had a good playoff run.

It has been so rainy lately, I have had to find plenty to keep Aidan busy. He really likes building models. This is a bulldozer.

Lastly, here is Aidan entertaining us with a puppet show using his hands and feet.

Water Babies

Kiersten went swimming for the first time this weekend. She looked so adorable in her swimsuit. She seemed to enjoy it. Aidan loves it too. Better to splash around in the pool instead of soaking the bathroom from swimming in the bathtub.

Happy 1/3 Birthday!

I can't believe baby girl is already four months old. I finally remembered to take pictures of her on her actual month birthdate (which has not happened since month 1) even though she was already in her jammies ready for bed. Poor second child. She has really turned into a happy baby. She still is not a good sleeper yet but we are getting closer. At her doctor's check-up she was just over 13 pounds and 23.5 inches long. She is our little peanut.

Kiersten and I played hair salon the other night while the boys were busy. I think I am going to need some lessons when we get a little more hair to work with but she cooperates with me and enjoys the attention. Here are her beauty shots...

She also tried rice cereal for the first time. She was not a fan but who could balme her?

Kiersten's First Day of School

Look at this big girl on her very first day of school. I went back to teaching at the preschool today, so Kiersten now gets to come along. She is in a newborn class with 4 other babies and she seemed to have a great day. Her schedule said they worked on shapes and colors and had chapel & music time. I peeked in on her during the day and she was happily playing on the floor.

The day after Christmas, the whole family went bowling. Once we convinced Aidan to put on the 'special shoes' he was ready to go.
