Kiersten's First Birthday

On September 15th, we celebrated Kiersten's first birthday. She is definitely a girly-girl with all her curls and bows and brings out the drama when she wants. She keeps us on our toes with all the mischeif she gets into but she can also melt our hearts with a big smile and slobbery kiss. We love you Kiersten!!

Are you ready for some baseball?

A few weeks ago the Twins were in town, so we headed out to the ballpark. Kiersten was a big fan. She yelled and clapped along with the crowd.
Aidan's favorite part (as always), the dot race
Then, last Saturday, Aidan had his first big tball game. I think he was as excited about the uniform as he was the actual game.

School Days

It is back to school time for us.

Aidan started Pre-K at the Christian Academy at our church. We are new to the world of carpool lines and uniforms but he is loving it. He goes to PE, technology, spanish, art & music each week. So far he has kept his clothespin on the happy face chart so that means he had been doing well.

His first day of school in his chapel uniform. His second day of school in his regular uniform. Cool hand wraps Third day of school in his spirit uniform. If I manage to get him in the right uniform on the right days this year, I will be surprised. Kiersten is in the preschool program at our church while I am teaching there. She has her own chapel and music times as well. She even ate her first lunch out of her lunchbox. Our four lunch bags waiting to be packed.

Aidan's Summer Vacation

In honor of Aidan's first day of school today, I wanted to post about his summer vacation. In addition to all our travels, Aidan got to do all these fun things...
He made his own pizza at a special day at California Pizza Kitchen.
He went to cooking school at Young Chef's Academy. He learned to make pizza & cookies (from scratch) and limeade to drink.
He made pretzels at the mall.
He went to the Superhero Challenge at church. A week long day camp about eating right and living healthy. He learned to swim. Yippee!!

Aidan's Thumbs

Aidan had surgery last week to fix the tendons in his thumbs. He did very well through the surgery & recovery. He is a brave guy.
